Two Distinct Soil Disinfestations Differently Modify the Bacterial Communities in a Tomato Field

چکیده

Reductive soil disinfestation (RSD) and solarization (SS) were evaluated based on environmental factors, microbiome, suppression of Fusarium oxysporum in a tomato field soil. Soil factors (moisture content, electric conductivity, pH, redox potential (RP)) measured during disinfestations. All more strongly influenced by RSD than SS. 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing RSD- SS-treated soils was performed. The bacterial communities taxonomically functionally distinct depending treatment methods periods significantly correlated with pH RP. Fifty-four pathways predicted PICRUSt2 (third level MetaCyc hierarchy) different between Quantitative polymerase chain reaction demonstrated that both treatments equally suppressed F. oxysporum. growth yield cultivated after similar SS shaped communities, although the effects pathogen plant comparable treatments. existence pathogen-suppressive microbes, other Clostridia previously reported to have an effect, suggested. Comparison provides new aspects unknown patterns usefulness as alternative RSD.

Distinct Soil Bacterial Communities Revealed under a Diversely Managed Agroecosystem

Land-use change and management practices are normally enacted to manipulate environments to improve conditions that relate to production, remediation, and accommodation. However, their effect on the soil microbial community and their subsequent influence on soil function is still difficult to quantify. Recent applications of molecular techniques to soil biology, especially the use of 16S rRNA, ...

Minerals in soil select distinct bacterial communities in their microhabitats.

We tested the hypothesis that different minerals in soil select distinct bacterial communities in their microhabitats. Mica (M), basalt (B) and rock phosphate (RP) were incubated separately in soil planted with Trifolium subterraneum, Lolium rigidum or left unplanted. After 70 days, the mineral and soil fractions were separated by sieving. Automated ribosomal intergenic spacer analysis was used...

mulching and cover crops effects on the soil and rhizosphere-associated bacterial communities in field experiment

agricultural sustainability is closely related with the efficient use of natural resources, which are primarily transformed by the action of microorganisms. soil microorganisms are usually used as early indicators of soil quality since they rapidly respond to changes in soil management. a field experiment was carried out aiming to evaluate the effect of siratro (macroptylium atropurpureum), bah...

Soil bacterial and fungal communities respond differently to various isothiocyanates added for biofumigation

The meals from many oilseed crops have potential for biofumigation due to their release of biocidal compounds such as isothiocyanates (ITCs). Various ITCs are known to inhibit numerous pathogens; however, much less is known about how the soil microbial community responds to the different types of ITCs released from oilseed meals (SMs). To simulate applying ITC-releasing SMs to soil, we amended ...

Distinct soil bacterial communities along a small-scale elevational gradient in alpine tundra

The elevational diversity pattern for microorganisms has received great attention recently but is still understudied, and phylogenetic relatedness is rarely studied for microbial elevational distributions. Using a bar-coded pyrosequencing technique, we examined the biodiversity patterns for soil bacterial communities of tundra ecosystem along 2000-2500 m elevations on Changbai Mountain in China...
